Terms of Service — CV Tailor

1. About CV Tailor

CV Tailor ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered CV tailoring service operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account and using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The Service

CV Tailor uses artificial intelligence to help you tailor your CV to specific job descriptions. We provide:

AI-powered CV tailoring (2 tailors free, unlimited on Pro)
Cover letter generation
CV export in PDF and Word formats
Multiple professional CV templates

The AI outputs are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before submitting any application. We do not guarantee that use of our service will result in job interviews or employment.

3. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use CV Tailor. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service to generate false or misleading information for job applications
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
Share your account with others
Use the service for any unlawful purpose

5. Subscriptions and Billing

CV Tailor Pro is a monthly subscription charged at £15.99/month. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Pro access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the CV content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your CV data to train AI models.

The CV Tailor platform, branding, and underlying technology are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

CV Tailor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
